The Nutcracker presented by Florida Dance Theatre, in partnership with Polk County Schools.

The Nutcracker Education Experience is a collaborative effort between Florida Dance Theatre, Polk County Schools, and community members to provide students with an immersive dance program centered around The Nutcracker ballet. This program aims to enhance students' dance skills, provide unique mentorship opportunities, promote health and wellness through dance, and culminate in live performances alongside FDT's professional company.

For our 30th anniversary season of performances, we are featuring students of Rochelle School of The Arts and Crystal Lake Elementary School.

Rochelle School of the Arts - Special one-hour performances

Saturday, December 2nd - 3 pm and 7:30 pm

Tickets: $8 for everyone; $0 with valid Polk County School ID

Florida Southern College's Branscomb Auditorium - Full-length performances

Friday, December 15th - 3 pm

Tickets: $15 for everyone

Friday, December 15th - 7:30pm

Tickets: $25 for adults, $15 for under 18
