After treating hundreds of people following total knee replacements one thing is clear: people consistently wish they had more information and more clear expectations about recovery prior to this surgery. 

This class was designed to provide education about what to expect prior to a total knee replacement (total knee arthroplasty). If you are scheduled for a total knee replacement, or are considering one in the future, please join!

Dr. Cassie Cook, a physical therapist with 10 years of experience, specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation will be the speaker at this concise talk. Cassie has treated hundreds of people before and after knee replacement, including currently practicing at Bespoke Physical Therapy.

“Total Knee Replacement” Prep talk will include:

• an overview of knee anatomy and mechanics
• a handout of exercises that are often helpful when preparing for a knee replacement
• education on goals and expectations post operatively
• answers to commonly asked questions, as well as the opportunity to ask your own commonly used rehab exercises. 

Time: Doors will be open at 4:15, and the class will begin promptly at 4:30. 

Plan to join for 45 minutes to 1 hour (time will vary based on class participation and questions)

Location: Suites on Central Conference Room: 331 W Central Avenue, Winter Haven, FL

The entrance to the “Suites on Central” is directly next to “Haven Local Shop” and across the street from “Bistro Pizza” and “Arabellas.” Once inside the Suites on Central, use the stairs or elevator (keep walking past the stairs to find the elevator) to go to the second floor, and then you will turn right to find the Suites on Central conference room.

This class will not include:

• individual physical therapy evaluations
• medical advice or information intended to replace that of your surgeon or physician
