WATERCOLOR FOR USE IN ILLUSTRATION AND DESIGN

PARTICIPANTS MAY CHOOSE TO TAKE THIS COURSE EITHER IN-PERSON OR WATCH A LIVESTREAM OF THE COURSE.

LIMITED TO 12 PARTICIPANTS

This course will teach the techniques and application of watercolor in everyday design and illustration. Students will learn the basics of watercolor and its uses as a viable medium in design. Layout, color theory, materials, leading up to eventual production of their own final illustration using the techniques overviewed in this course.

Course Participants are responsible for providing their own supplies for this course. Required supplies for this course include:

• 11x14 or 9x12 140lb watercolor pad
• 12 or 24 set of pan watercolors
• multi-pack of taklon watercolor brush consisting of at least 2 rounds ( size 4-8 )
• pencil for sketching
• .8 micron waterproof pen or large and fine tip sharpies
• masking tape
• 1 piece of foam core
