THEATRE WINTER HAVEN has been called “one of the best community theatres in America” by the Tampa Tribune, the Lakeland Ledger and the Winter Haven News Chief. Since our founding as a non-profit organization in 1970, TWH has worked to fulfill our Mission Statement: “We inspire, challenge, entertain and educate our community by creating exceptional theatrical experiences” Some Facts Over 30,000 tickets sold annually Over 120 performances per year With an economic impact of $1.5 million to Polk County Over 7,000 volunteer man-hours donated annually Over 3,400 annual subscribers who see each of our Mainstage shows Our Women’s Guild raises funds and hosts events open to anyone. A Senior Theatre Program called the ACT IV Players which tours retirement homes and community centers.
